Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a key requirement for many developments and is necessary to help secure planning consent. The process involves the preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) by the applicant.

At Flannery Health and Safety, we believe that undertaking EIAs should not be unnecessarily complicated or financially onerous. They should be proportionate, properly scoped to focus on the likely significant effects, and be a tool to help deliver the best environmental outcome for projects.

We manage the Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) process to develop Environmental Impact Statements (EIS). We also undertake Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) and Appropriate Assessments (AA).

Of course, depending on the nature of your development, a full EIA may not always be required. We have successfully screened many client projects as non-EIA submissions saving valuable time and money.

Every client and every project is different, and we tailor our approach to be flexible to your needs and achieve the desired outcomes.
